Here are a few guidelines for posting an event:
Please check the calendar first to ensure that your event is not already posted.
The Community Calendar is for events in Virginia, West Virginia or North Carolina. Events need to be open to the community and an “event” in nature.
Weekly meetings: Bible Study, DivorceCare, Awana, Worship Service, etc. Please only put the first 2 weeks of the meeting on the calendar.
Daily events must not last more than 1 week. This enables us to best service those using the calendar to look up events.
To submit your event, please complete the following form. Fields with an * must be provided. If you have a website, please enter the full URL address including http/https. Allow 2 weeks prior to the date of your event for posting to the calendar.
If you need to edit or delete your event after it is submitted, please click on the “My Events” button. After your event is edited it will need to be moderated before it will appear on the calendar.

Tacos on Tuesday pop-up fundraiser for The Chris Long Foundation Initiative “Waterboys”
August 6 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT
Tacos on Tuesday is a quarterly pop-up fundraising event hosted by Sarisand Tile and Rockpile Construction Company; benefiting different local non-profits in the Charlottesville community. We believe giving is an ongoing cycle, we want to help our community charities thrive.
Once a quarter we celebrate a local non-profit with their own “Tacos on Tuesday” pop-up event raising money to benefit them. Our events are free to the public; all we ask is that you donate to the featured non-profit.
Our beneficiary of the quarter is The Chris Long Foundation Initiative “Waterboys”, every dollar raised goes to this amazing local activist Chris Long’s cause. The Waterboys mission to provide clean water for communities in East Africa.
Come be a part of the giving, eat some tacos, help a local non-profit, and meet members of your community.
Let’s raise our forks and enjoy great food helping a wonderful cause!”
This is a family-friendly event!
Our Pop-ups are by donation only with a suggested donation of $25 per person.
Parking located at the Habitat Restore – a shuttle up the hill will be provided.
