Thank you for your interest in posting your event to the Spirit FM Community Calendar!
Here are a few guidelines for posting an event:
Please check the calendar first to ensure that your event is not already posted.
The Community Calendar is for events in Virginia, West Virginia or North Carolina. Events need to be open to the community and an “event” in nature.
Weekly meetings: Bible Study, DivorceCare, Awana, Worship Service, etc. Please only put the first 2 weeks of the meeting on the calendar.
Daily events must not last more than 1 week. This enables us to best service those using the calendar to look up events.
To submit your event, please complete the following form. Fields with an * must be provided. If you have a website, please enter the full URL address including http/https. Allow 2 weeks prior to the date of your event for posting to the calendar.
If you need to edit or delete your event after it is submitted, please click on the “My Events” button. After your event is edited it will need to be moderated before it will appear on the calendar.

Mountain Magic In Fall Bluegrass, Antiques & Crafts Festival
October 5 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm EDT
Experience the “magic” of small town America during Buchanan’s 25th annual, Mountain Magic In Fall Bluegrass, Antiques & Crafts Festival.
Thousands of visitors will flock to downtown exploring more than 100 vendor spaces filled with candles, knitted and crocheted items, wood crafts, furniture, glass, birdhouses, antiques, art, local honey, pumpkins, apples and more fill tables, easels and tents as the incredible smells of sausage, country ham and barbeque fill the air.
A celebration of the Town’s revitalization activities, Mountain Magic in Fall showcases the Town’s historic roots along Main Street where you will find antiques, arts, collectibles as well as restaurants offering good old fashioned southern cooking, pizza and burgers. A jouney through time, Buchanan’s historic buildings date from the early 1800’s through the 1950’s.
Bring a lawn chair and sit a spell to enjoy a full day of live Bluegrass performances from Center Stage. Marvel at the restoration of scores of antique and classic autos and tractors on display. Meet the owners and ask them about their efforts to restore their cars.
For additional information on the Festival, or, to become a vendor, contact the Buchanan Downtown Revitalization Program at (540) 254-1212 X 4.
